The 1997 Bentley Turbo R was the last Bentley manufactured by Rolls Royce. Motor Trend magazine called the Turbo R, "the first Bentley in decades deserving of the famous name." Only 823 Bentley New Turbo R EXLs were built, all between 1995-1997. Top Gear (the most widely watched factual category television program in the world) stated, "it always feel poised, accurate, and agile." They added, "you get an exquisite rain forest of polished timber, the softest, finest leather, beautifully chromed detailed switches that belong in Faberge's window, but most important of all, you get a 6 1/2 liter V8 engine with a turbocharger the size of a dustbin (garbage can) lid, it's wonderful." The Turbo R is the only car in Jay Leno's (former Tonight Show host and star of Jay Leno's Garage) car collection that he purchased new. Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear stated, "Bentleys are supposed to be sporty, but this is manic, this is magnificent." Queen Elizabeth II has five Bentleys, including the Official State Vehicle of the Queen. Be treated like royalty, and have a truly grand experience being chauffeured about in our Bentley.
